Aragon / La Mesa

A former dilapidated trailer park is now the site of 58 three-story attached homes, bringing an eclectic, contemporary, Mediterranean flair to this urban oasis. Barratt collaborated with the City of La Mesa and their Mixed Use Strategic Implementation Plan to find a solution to concerns about density and height.

Aragon provides the walkable community that La Mesa is looking to achieve in their redevelopment of El Cajon Blvd. Four different types of live/work units offer business owners the street side exposure while eliminating their daily commute to and from work.
